Musings from the Sunport

This trip will soon be over. I’m a little over an hour or so away from boarding my Southwest flight back into San Diego. It’s been a good week here in the “Q” as I believe it’s known here…yes? No? Meh. Anyway, here’s a quick re-cap of my thoughts on Albuquerque, NM.

1. Shiner Family Reunion: I need this 12 pack to be available in San Diego. Shiner makes some great beers, it turns out. I’ve always liked their Bock, but their dark lager is a dark, roasted, nearly chocolatey bit of heaven.

2. Red Or Green? For me, I’m all about the green sauce. The red is tasty, but the green sauce is where I personally feel Jesus wants us to live.

3. No Comedy Central In the Hotel Room: Terrible mistake, Hyatt Tamaya, horrible mistake! The shows leading up the Colbert and Stewart rallies culminated with President Obama on The Daily Show! And I fucking missed it!

4. MY GIANT ORANGE ERNIE SHIRT: Best fucking shirt I’ve bought in like forever, and that is the truth.

5. DRY CLIMATE MAKES NOSES BLOODY! Seriously, I feel like there’s a bag full of sand in my nasal passages and they just want to bleed. Boo!

So that’s about it for this week. Learned a lot of stuff about the database I maintain for my day-job. But that’s boring shit.
